AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T)'s third quarter profit beat expectations after they added more subscribers along with the revenue generated from smartphone data plans. The stock rose 66 cents a share, analysts expected to see a rise of 65 cents. Sales rose to $32.2 billion which is what was expected.
