Today the Federal Reserve started supplying banks with billions of new redesigned $100 bills that use advanced anti counterfeiting features. The new Benjis still feature Benjamin Franklin, have two new security features a blue 3D security ribbon with images of bells and 100s, and a color changing bell in an inkwell. Federal Reserve Board Governor Jerome Powell said, "The new design incorporates security features that make it easier to authenticate, but harder to replicate."
