Today President Barack Obama said he will not negotiate with Congress on whether or not to raise the U.S. debt ceiling. He also went on to scold Republicans for trying to bring the government to a stop in hopes to repeal Obama's healthcare reform law. In order for t he government to pay its bills the debt ceiling must be raised. Obama said, "I will not negotiate over whether or not America keeps its word and meets its obligations... This country has worked too hard for too long to dig out of a crisis just to see their elected representatives here in Washington purposely cause anther crisis."Congress has fought tooth and nail with the President over a large spectrum of issues, I hope they can get their act together and soon.
