Apple Inc. announced that it has sold more than 10 million iPhones in the first three days of the debut of the new iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. Tim Cook, Chief Executive said they could have sold more phones if supplies were available. Apple booked 4 million pre orders on September 12. Analysts forecasted sales of 10 million iPhones based off the pre order numbers. Brian White an analyst for Cantor Fitzgerald said, “Despite the supply chain constraints around the iPhone 6 Plus and tightness around certain models of the iPhone 6, we believe strong print demonstrates that Apple executed well in the face of severe supply constraints.”
